When conducting filming it is important that all risks are assessed to ensure the safety of all parties involved. Below is my risk assessment.

Advertising/featuring my product

Where would my product be advertised?

Social networking:
With my young teenage audience, I think it is important to advertise my products on social networking platforms. Twitter, Instagram and Facebook are very popular to teenagers and they use them daily, by uploading videos or album artwork to these sites I can advertise my video to a mass audience. Also, uploading videos to social networks is free so it would save me money. Also social networking and Web 2.0 allows audiences to share their opinions on my video which is good for audience feedback, it will allow me to see more opinions on my product. \Facebook is a very influential social networking site as it actively encourages people to share their opinions about things and you can 'share' videos, this means                                                   that if people enjoy my video they can further share it with                                               their friends and appeal to an even wider audience.

YouTube:
From my questionnaires, I have realised that my video will definitely have to feature on YouTube. In relation to my questionnaire, over half of the people asked said they were most likely to watch music videos on YouTube as opposed to other platforms, this means that to appeal to a wider audience I will have to make sure my video features on YouTube.

Music Videos:
Although due to the proliferation and new popularity of on-line music platforms, music channels have seen a decline, however they still hold some popularity. It would be good to feature my music video on music channels because they still attract many viewers.

Inspiration for my music video

There is a prominent use of split screen in this video. I really like the way that at 2:09 in the video, the splitscreen continuously wipes upwards to show other moving images of the artist, this makes the video dynamic and keeps the attention of the viewer. It also allows more incorporation of setting and costumes.

I really like the use of bright colours in this video as it presents a very happy ideology, it makes the video more interesting and not too serious, I like the way that the same person is shown in 4 different costumes but in the same shot.
